Who is eligible for this program?
Any SPG member with a valid and active SPG account in good standing is eligible to enroll. This does not extend to Starwood employees.

How do I enroll?
Enrolling is easy and should take less than five minutes; simply follow the instructions on spg.com/socialcheckins.

How do I know which hotels are offering specials?
Visit spg.com/facebook or spg.com/Foursquare for a full list of specials being offered across all hotels.

How will I be notified that my Starpoints have been awarded?
Starpoints will be credited to your account within 2–3 weeks of your Facebook and/or Foursquare check-in and will appear in your eStatement.

How often will SPG specials change?
Facebook and/or Foursquare specials may vary by region and brand.

Do I need a confirmed reservation with every Facebook and/or Foursquare check-in to earn Starpoints?
While some bonus Starpoints offers do require a confirmed reservation to earn Starpoints for check-ins, we plan to feature many different specials throughout the year, and not all of these will require a confirmed reservation.

For bonus opportunities with a confirmed reservation, what constitutes an SPG "eligible stay"?
An eligible stay is any stay at an SPG property paying a qualifying eligible rate that earns Starpoints. Stays booked through prepaid, third-party channels, such as Orbitz.com, Expedia.com, Travelocity.com, etc., are not eligible Rate Plans, and therefore the member may not earn Starpoints and will not qualify for any bonus offer. For SPG Facebook and/or Foursquare specials with a confirmed reservation, if part of my stay has an Award Night or a night using Cash & Points, does my stay qualify?
Will vary by promotion. Award Night and Cash & Points reservations are eligible for SPG Facebook and/or Foursquare check-in specials unless otherwise stated in promotional terms for that particular promotion. Please ensure the reservation number for your stay is under the same SPG number you have associated with your Facebook and/or Foursquare account.

Can I receive a bonus award if the reservation is under another person's SPG account?
In order to earn Starpoints for Facebook and/or Foursquare specials that require a confirmed reservation, the reservation must be in your name and associated with the SPG number you have linked with your Facebook and/or Foursquare account. If you have not yet connected your SPG and Facebook and/or Foursquare accounts, please visit spg.com/socialcheckins to enroll.

Who is the Mayor of SPG?
Each month the registered member with the greatest number of Foursquare check-ins across all hotels will be crowned the Mayor of SPG for that month. The SPG Mayor will be featured on spg.com/Foursquare and asked to contribute tips to the SPG Foursquare page (foursquare.com/spginsider).
